WORKSHOP DEPARTMENT
Overview
The workshop is the central facility for imparting practical Knowledge, Technology and skills to the students of all branches of the 3 Year Diploma in various shops. Theoretical and Practical knowledge is also provided to Mechanical and Production Engineering students in the subject of Workshop Technology as well as they utilizes the facilities of the Workshop in connection with their Major project works. The Workshop Department promotes collaboration and teamwork among students. Many practical projects require students to work together, fostering effective communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Workshop is well equipped with conventional Manufacturing/Training machines like lathe, milling, shaping, Slotting, Planning, Surface Grinder, Cylindrical Grinder, Pillar Drilling machine, Power hammer, Cupola Furnace, MIG and TIG Welding Machines etc. in addition to above one the latest machine like CNC Milling Machine. The Department have well qualified & fully trained staff.
